Life’s journey can be fraught with obstacles and challenges, often leaving us feeling overwhelmed, confused, anxious, or depressed. Anxiety and depression can be deeply intertwined with our relationships, both past and present, especially if we carry lasting emotional scars from traumatic experiences that affect how we relate to others and ourselves. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to explore these experiences, understand their impact, and develop healthier ways of relating.

I integrate a variety of evidence-based treatments to address the complex and interconnected nature of the issues my clients are facing. In our work together we can focus on understanding the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, learning new coping skills and strategies, and developing psychological flexibility and acceptance of difficult thoughts and emotions. We can address relationship issues and borderline personality traits through skills such as emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. I also often integrate mindfulness-based techniques, such as mindfulness meditation, to help clients cultivate present-moment awareness and reduce stress. Clinical hypnotherapy can be used to access the subconscious mind and facilitate positive changes by processing difficult emotions and memories in a safe and controlled environment.

Through our collaborative work in therapy, you can expect to see significant improvements in various aspects of your life. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the interconnected nature of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. With newfound coping skills and strategies, you’ll feel more equipped to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence, and notice a greater sense of inner peace and clarity. Ultimately, therapy is a journey of growth and self-discovery, and I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way.
